Growing plants from seeds is simple, rewarding and exciting. For many of us, sowing a packet of cress or a single sunflower seed would have been our introduction to gardening. In truth, it need not be a lot more complicated than that. All the seeds I have curated here have been chosen for their wildlife appeal, attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinators to the garden.
