September is when dahlias are at their peak, so be prepared to be dazzled by the huge selection on offer!
On Flower Market days, the Old Market Place is festooned with colourful bunting and buzzing with the sound of talented street entertainers. You'll discover a wonderful selection of cut flowers, bouquets, dried flowers, houseplants, terrariums, succulents, herbs, bulbs, perennials, ferns, grasses, bedding plants, shrubs and small trees. Other items with a horticultural theme include plant pots, tools and sometimes flower pot-shaped cakes!Â
