Plant Fairs at London's Horniman Museum began in 2024. They have become so popular that they're now held twice a year. This is the first time there's been a plant fair in September, at the start of the autumn planting season, making this a great opportunity to stock your garden with late-flowering perennials, shade-loving ferns and acers. In addition to plant shopping, you can enjoy the museum's varied collections, panoramic views across London, a bee garden, an aquarium, a butterfly house, meadows and, of course, the infamous walrus!
The Horniman Kiosk will be open for drinks and snacks, and the ice cream stand will be open as usual. The Horniman Café will be open, and stamps will allow you to re-enter the event if you need to take a break from shopping.
