EMU Arc en Ciel Bistro Set, Lichen Green

Currently Unavailable

I've been on a long search to find the perfect bistro set for my garden, and now I've found it! Emu set the bar high when it comes to metal garden furniture, and their Arc en Ciel range is a design classic in the making.

The two chairs and rectangular metal table are manufactured from solid, scratch-resistant sheet metal that's been given a 4-layer, electroplated, all-weather finish. This means they can remain outside year-round without fear of rusting. Protection over the winter months will prolong their life yet further. The contoured seat and back slats offer a marvellous level of comfort, and the whole set folds away for easy storage. All that's left to do is choose a colour. Lichen is one of those chameleon-like colours that can blend in or stand out as you wish, but it will always be easy to live with. On a gravel terrace, surrounded by lavender, it would look an absolute treat.

Emu's exclusive, 4-layer, all-weather finish consists of:

  • zinc coating to seal & protect against rust
  • iron phosphate anti-corrosive undercoat
  • electro-plated primer coat
  • emu-coat polyester baked colour finish

In order to keep your bistro set in good condition for a longer period of time, I would recommend that you store it in an enclosed and dry area during winter. Before stowing it away, and regularly every quarter if you live near the coast like me, I recommend that you clean the metal surfaces with warm soapy water, rinse with clean water and protect with non-abrasive car wax.

Do not use ethyl alcohol or detergents that contain acetone, trichloroethylene or ammonia - in fact, avoid solvent cleaners in general.

To reduce the size of the box that you'll receive your bistro set in, the legs of the table have been removed. These need to be attached to the tabletop which is a 5-minute job made easier if there are 2 of you. All tools and fittings are provided.

All that remains is to sit back and relax.
