I am delighted to be part of this new plant fair in these splendid Edwardian gardens, originally designed by Harold Peto and then restored and improved by a series of talented gardeners. Set at the foot of the South Downs, West Dean is home to one of the finest walled kitchen gardens in the country. You can stroll from Peto's magnificent Edwardian pergola, sunken garden, and Victorian greenhouses to the more experimental, drought-tolerant meadow, which is covered in recycled stone mulch.
There will be 15 nurseries offering a wide range of British-grown plants, plus yours truly with a wide range of tools and gardening accessories.
To complete your visit, there is an excellent cafe/restaurant in the grounds.
Sunday, 7th September 2025, 11 am - 4 pm. Admission £13.50.
