Twool Cosy Nesting Wool For Birds & Hedgehogs

This super-sustainable nesting wool for birds and hedgehogs is a by-product of the carding process used to make Twool garden twine.

Wool makes fantastic nesting material for birds and they will collect it in the wild wherever sheep graze. If you don't happen to have a handy flock nearby, hang this box close to bird feeders or decant the contents into a fat-ball cage to create a self-service nest-filling station. For hedgehogs, place a little in your house and some more nearby - they will drag what they need inside.

  • Made from Dartmoor sheep wool
  • Natural and chemical free
  • Home compostable

Brand Focus

With a commitment to sustainability, British materials and heritage manufacturing, the team at Twool has created a range of superb twines and ties using wool from rare-breed Whiteface Dartmoor sheep. By collecting wool from farmers who practise regenerative agriculture, dying it using low-impact dyes and spinning in Yorkshire, Twool offers a sustainable alternative to imported jute twine. Not only does Twool have multiple uses in the garden, but it's perfect for tying parcels and gifts. The only challenge is choosing a colour!
