Held at the Dummer Cricket Centre in Basingstoke, the Dummer Fair has been held around Michaelmas for over 25 years. Featuring around 90 stalls, it draws visitors from far and wide with easy access from the M3 and A303.
Exhibitors will be offering everything from crafts and food to clothing and gifts, with plenty to tempt you for early Christmas presents or just a treat for yourself. I will be there with a first glimpse of my Christmas ornaments as well as tools, gardening accessories and gifts for gardeners. If you'd like to collect an order from me at this or any other event, please email hello@dancoopergarden.com a few days before, and I'll bring your goodies along.
The Dummer Fair is one of the most successful in Hampshire, with proceeds of the event going towards supporting the children and young people at Treloar’s, a charity that provides education, therapy and care to physically disabled young people, empowering them to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
A café will be serving light lunches, tea, coffee and cakes throughout the day.
