Next Event: Leigh Flower Show & Country Fayre, Surrey, Saturday, 20th July

Rare Plant Fair, Evenley Wood Garden

Rare Plant Fair, Evenley Wood Garden

Set in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, this 60-acre woodland garden boasts a large and notable collection of unusual trees, shrubs, lilies and other flowering bulbs.

The garden’s unusual band of acid soil provides the opportunity to cultivate rhododendrons, camellias and magnolias. In April, the garden’s 800m long Scilla ‘stream’ springs into life. Some 150 magnolias follow, accompanied by the first flush of new leaves, rhododendrons and azaleas.

Rare Plant Fairs bring together some of the finest specialist nurseries in the country, making a visit to one of their events an unmissable treat.

Sunday, 2nd April, 10am-4pm

Admission to gardens and fair: adults, £7.50; children 4-16 £1.00; season ticket holders £5.00. Well-controlled dogs on short leads are welcome.
