Few venues in West Sussex are as iconic as Parham, one of England's finest Elizabethan houses surrounded by stunning gardens and hundreds of acres of parkland.
This is the first time the Plant Fairs Roadshow has stopped at Parham, following in the footsteps of the famous Garden Weekend, which ran there for twenty years. I will be joined by 17 nurseries from across the south offering an enormous selection of perennial plants, trees and shrubs, including conservatory plants.
The Gardens at Parham consist of seven acres of Pleasure Grounds laid out in the 18th century. They include a lake, a brick and turf maze, and many specimen trees. A four-acre Walled Garden contains wide herbaceous borders, a rose garden, a cut flower garden, a vegetable garden, an orchard and a 1920s Wendy House. A splendid greenhouse, dating from the 1920s, has a fine display of pelargoniums and other tender plants.
Sunday, 6th July 2025, 12 pm-5 pm. Admission £12.
Dogs are welcome on short leads within the gardens and pleasure grounds, but not in the cafe.
