With its striking A-frame shape, this is one of the most attractive, versatile and practical birdhouses around. A stainless-steel hole-protector guards against predator attacks. The front can be opened to clean inside or make an open nester for Robins, Wagtails and Spotted Flycatchers. Without the front, this birdhouse can also be used as a wall feeder.
In the UK, the ideal aspect for a birdhouse is East, North, North-East or South-East. This helps to shelter the box from rain and strong sunlight. Find a tree, wall, fence or building at least 1.5m – 2m above ground that's beyond the reach of cats and other predators.
