The natural air-dried, FSC certified log used to make this nestbox has low thermal conductivity providing excellent insulation for nesting birds. You can lift the hinged lid by loosening the securing screw, allowing for cleaning and inspection. The nest box can be attached to a wall or tree trunk using the backplate hole at the rear. Keep out of reach of predators such as cats and orientate the entrance towards the North or North-East to protect the birds from wind, rain and hot sun.
