I've been overwhelmed by kind invitations to take part in festive markets this year, and I know this event is going to be something very special.
The Hub is a café, shop, meeting place and venue designed to meet the needs of a small rural community in East Sussex, just over the border from Kent. The unique building has been constructed from almost entirely upcycled and reclaimed materials. The organisation's aim is to celebrate all things local – products, people and place.
After a break during the Covid years, The Hub's annual Christmas market returns on Wednesday, December 14th, from 4pm until 8pm. The market will boast an array of local stalls offering handcrafted silver jewellery, candles, cheese, macrame gifts and, of course, gorgeous gifts for gardeners! The cafe will be open serving a selection of seasonal dishes, mulled wine & plenty of mince pies.
Entry is free and there's ample parking on site. The Hub is dog friendly, there's level access and a disabled WC.
